2018 Farm Tour & Potluck Saturday, Oct. 6

Annual Farm Tour and Potluck

Henry’s Annual Potluck and Tour is Saturday, October 6 -- rain or shine!

This is when you and your family and friends get to come down to the farm, see where all your food comes from, ask Henry questions, and  share food and fellowship with others.

Please RSVP with the number of people in your party -- either by leaving a comment on this page, or on our Facebook event page.

Here's a map and directions to Henry's Farm from Chicago and Bloomington and Peoria. Don't trust your GPS!

It’s a potluck! Please bring a large dish to share, and your own tableware and drinks (we provide water and juice). (BYOB if desired. )

It's a tour!   Consecutive tours start around 3pm,  led by Henry himself, who will answer your questions and talk about some of the 600 different varieties of vegetables he grows

It’s a contest!Henry labels 10 different vegetables that are growing in the field, and you have to guess what they are. Answers are revealed during the tour, so take time when you first arrive to take the quiz, and turn in your answers. The winner gets fabulous farm prizes.

It's a bonfire, with music! Weather permitting, we'll light a bonfire at dusk. Please bring your musical instruments, voices, and dancing bodies!

Please RSVP online! Leave a note at the bottom of this post, or on our Facebook Event page.  Let us know how many people will be in your party (this helps us have enough seating and drinks and porta-potties for everyone). You may also indicate what dish you're bringing to share, and any other information, e.g. need a ride, or willing to provide a ride, etc.
