Aronia Juice and Frozen Aronia Berries!

Jill's youngest daughter, Celeste, enjoying aronia juice! |
Most of you know that Teresa has not had any juice to sell so far this season. It's a long story, and rather than telling it all here, let’s just say that the last batch of berries that we took out of frozen storage made a fine batch of juice!
If you don’t like aronia in smoothies or oatmeal, or if you just don’t want to spend the time, then drink your aronia!
This juice has a flavor that’s a blend of apple, wild grape, and prune juice and it really makes you feel ALIVE! when you drink it.

I like to drink it straight, but if it's too strong for your taste, add some sparkling water, plain water, juice, or even vodka! We had it together with hard cider last week and it tasted like wine! You can also add it to smoothies, make ice cream with it, or add to a vinegar and oil salad dressing.
This is a fresh pressed unpasteurized juice with absolutely nothing added. It keeps about 2 weeks in the refrigerator. If you want to stock up on it to drink during the winter, transfer it to smaller bottles as soon as we deliver it to you and freeze it.
Then you can just take out a small amount at a time and it won't spoil. Jill swears that aronia juice can stave off a cold!
The more you buy, the more you save!!

Frozen Aronia Berries at a Deep Discount!!
Because our harvest was a bit late this year, many of the berries are less than perfect...a bit smaller and some are wrinkled or cracked. Because of this, we are not selling our frozen berries in the usual 18 ounce bags.
The aronia will only be available in 30 pound boxes and they will be much cheaper than usual because you will have to go through them as you use them and cull out the bad berries. I would suggest re-packaging the berries in gallon size ziplock freezer bags (one box will fill about 6-7 bags). When you go to use a handful or two for smoothies or oatmeal, just quickly take out the few imperfect berries before throwing the good ones in. For some things like smoothies, even the wrinkled berries will be fine, and then this is an even better deal!
Most boxes have more than 75% perfect berries, so this price is more than 80% off of the normal price of the packaged berries!!
